With the cap going up, salaries are bound to increase, so I would have absolutely no problem giving him 3 X 4.5M. I think his production is going to increase quite a bit over the next three seasons.

Yeah for a 3 year deal, I don't think $4.5 is bad for the Flames.
Although surprised Zary wouldn't want 2 year deal. Flames have shown willingness to pay up after one good season. Sharangovich and Cornato are examples. Zary is a confident guy apparently, he could really cash in next summer with an extension after a good season.
