Anthony DiMarco of Daily Faceoff says that the Flames are looking at a 3-year deal worth between 3M to 3.5M annually, while Zary's camp want somewhere around 4.5M per year.
With the cap going up, salaries are bound to increase, so I would have absolutely no problem giving him 3 X 4.5M. I think his production is going to increase quite a bit over the next three seasons.
