The issue is the real threat of any civil war or revolution from US citizens would come from the far right. The far right is now the government, so things will just erode for the foreseeable future.

Those are the voters that would take up arms against US government. Those voters, despite their stupidity in not understanding what is happening to their own freedoms and benefits of being American believe they have won and they have their representative in the White House.
