In our case, the much more complete player (Tkachuk) has also outscored Hubderdeau by a considerable margin since the trade.
3 ppg+ seasons vs 2 50 point and 1 60p point season.
Is the better defense good? Yes, but it came at the expense of nearly all Hubderdeaus production.
