This is where I would offer a 1st (VGK) and Rasmus Andersson to grab him. The Ducks can attempt to extend Andersson, and if he doesn't, they flip him at the deadline, especially if they're in a playoff spot. I'd say MM falls within the 1st/2nd/3rd compensation threshold, so technically, they're getting above average price for him (Andersson is worth more than a 2nd and a 3rd).
