The first half of the movie basically the first movie again, but Sandler is old and not as funny. It does get better in the second half.

That being said, it wasn't the worst thing in the world. It wasn't painful to watch. It was good to see the old characters.
It was a decent Sandler movie, but I think they swung and missed on one major sticking point.

The cameos are all well and good, but it seemed as though through the process of making the film they appeared to have forgotten the seemingly key element that their target audience, 30 years later, also grew up and their sense of humour along with them.

A joke from 30 years ago may still be funny, whether its 'nostalgic funny' or it just holds up, thats not really a solid basis for a film premise.

Overall, Happy2 was 3.6 Roentgen.
