Or maybe they're just wrong, and Farabee bounces back and turns back into a hard-nosed, scoring middle-six winger well worth the 5M contract. Philly just wasn't willing to take that risk.

Flyers started the rebuild earlier. They have Konecny and Couturier that get top 6 minutes and Couturier is like their Huberdeau, they would probably trade him if they could.

More draft picks, more prospects coming. If you keep all your vets, keep all your quality players, stockpile picks and develop more prospects, some players just won't get a crack.
Good teams make a call on players and it just could come down to we like the players but they 4 mentioned above me like better.
