Frost has shown progression every year and Farabee has regressed.
Also, I'm sure it's more than just the counting stats. Maybe Philadelphia saw something in his play that was worrisome.
Or maybe they're just wrong, and Farabee bounces back and turns back into a hard-nosed, scoring middle-six winger well worth the 5M contract. Philly just wasn't willing to take that risk.
