I don't have a problem telling them it got wet... I just want to know if it can be fixed.

The problem is that about half of the buttons don't work. Otherwise there seems to be no damage to the phone. People have suggested it's still wet, or that some deposits crystallized, or even that something fried. I think it'll be fine if all it needs is to be opened and dried, or cleaned.... but if I need some sort of new keypad circuit it's better if I get a new phone.
