Considering how long it took him to get comfortable in Calgary, that is a really risky contract to take on. Add the full NMC and I would be very surprised to see him moved.

That is a very logical viewpoint. However with the cap going up the contract is less of a hindrance especially with retention. And if a team can get more wins with him in the short term and save a GMs job, then there’s a chance he gets moved. I can see Huby open to moving back east for travel considerations alone.
