Sean Monahan put up 78 points in 58 games in his draft year on a horrific 67’s team. By horrific I mean worst team in the OHL by a country mile. He was 15th in points per game that year
Danielson played on a slightly below average team in Brandon in his draft year. He definitely had more talent around him than Monahan did. He was 41st in points per game. Guy just has never got points at any level, nothing wrong with that, just a fact.
