There will always be debate between the definition of a star player, top player, etc. But I think there is a distinction between players like Hedman, Makar, Hughes, Fox and players like Weegar. Same thing for McKinnon, Barkov, McDavid, Crosby vs Kadri.
Weegar is right there though.
