Yeah, im surprised so many bring up the Kadri thing like the flames should explore it "more than they have" to see. Im the opposite - I'd be shocked if Kadri, his agent and the Flames havent had numerous "touch base" meetings throughout the last couple years, to the point where they always know where each other stands on making a trade/being traded.
Kadri especially seems like an open book as far his feelings on where he's playing the possibility of playing elsewhere.i also wouldn't be surprised if it's an every changing thing based on current success and moves made.
Ie: players sold off, he cools and becomes more open to leaving. Next season wolf looks like a future star, parekh coming in, flames almost make playoffs, now he warms up again and says "I ain't going anywhere, my family moved here and now I like the direction again".
