It feels that all of a sudden world leaders are waking up that there is a genocide crisis (let's call it for what it is, calling it a humanitarian crisis is purposedly downplaying what is happening) at the hands of Israel while under their watch that can no longer be outright ignored as it has, but won't take the steps to do something about it and didn't do anything to prevent it from happening.

Macron recognizes the Palestinian state? Thanks...I guess? Starmer and Trump saying Gazans are starving? ok?

Asked by reporters in Scotland whether Israel should be doing more to allow food into Gaza, Trump said: “Well, you know, we gave $60 million two weeks ago and nobody even acknowledged it, for food. And it’s terrible. You know, you really at least want to have somebody say, ‘Thank you.’”

Frankly, I feel people are more outraged at having to see pictures and videos from Gaza of starving and dying children that have started pouring in, than they are at the systemic genocide. It was always going to end up like this by Israel design being emboldened by US support and now we are seeing the consequences. Will it be enough to actually act?

We get stuff like Coalition of the Willing when invading countries, where's the will here?
