i, like you, do not enjoy being 'privy' to gossip, mostly becuz i just don't care. i've got enough stuff going on that i don't have the time or energy to get dragged into that crap!

This is actually very true.
I lost an old friend over something like this, he got together with this woman and...I dont know if you've ever experienced a relationship like this or just known of one?
But...its one extreme or another. They love each other fiercely, with unbridled passion...but they seem like they absolutely HATE each other. Spending 3 minutes with them together is like trying to navigate between No Man's Land in WW2 or something, its just a war-zone.
Its nothing but fighting and insults and the whole thing is exhausting and it has nothing to do with me.
I dont know how people like that do it.
