I don't want to blame fans in full, but I'm going to anyway lol. As long as fans keep watching, paying for the tickets, buying the gear, its a tacit admission they don't care about things changing. If the PL revenue base keeps growing, why would they change anything? The only real way to get their attention and force change is to have the bottom line start to take a hit. But this is where sports leagues leverage fans being addicts to their leagues to refuse to change. Same with poor officiating, why change if the money keeps growing? Change is usually expensive, status quo is not.

I always come back to, I think it was Bayern fans, who a few years ago were playing against Arsenal in the UCL and they brought out the banner criticizing the pricing of tickets. Which...I mean you paid the price for the tickets, which again implies you are ok with it, and then brought out the banner saying "These prices suck!". ####ing hilarious really.
