It has affected his game at both ends of the ice, more so in the defensive zone. While in the defensive zone, his skating has limited him being able to move around and keep himself in the right position to better help the rest of his teammates. With the IQ and work ethic he does have though, he should make this less of a “downfall” to his game with some time and work.
