Maybe goalie's these days change their masks too often to have a trademark look but I miss that. Even Kipper did it with the skulls. |
I think the greats still usually end up with a single style that sort of gets re-done. Renne, Quick, Rask, Vaseilevsky... I can see Wolf sticking with the same wolf design ala Cujo or Belfour.
I loved goalies wearing weird helmet/cage combos: Hasek, Irbe, Osgood, Thomas, etc...
