Premier Danielle Smith paid a visit to Okotoks last week to take part in a town hall with Highwood MLA RJ Sigurdson at the Viking Rentals Centre.
A reporter for the Western Wheel was assigned to cover the event, but when he went to enter the building, he was told he couldn't bring his camera inside. The reporter from the Eagle radio station was told the same thing.

But last week’s town hall was a public forum in a public building, so there’s no justification for not allowing media members to carry cameras. It was the same building, in fact, that Mayor Tanya Thorn used to host a town hall earlier this year, a gathering that had no problem with camera-toting media members.

Totally normal stuff for a govenrment in a purported democratic country to prevent journalists from doing the job required for a democracy to survive.
Here's a thought. If they don't trust you, why should we trust them? Maybe consider that the next time you are called to do your democratic duty, FFS. It's not like we didn't know she was a deceitful lying weasel before the last election.
