Still early days, but at this moment, for many Parekh goes top 3 or 4 in a re-draft. That's tremendous for a team that seems to struggle to get into those draft slots.
I think that draft still has Celebrini #1 and now Demidov #2.
And then I think you Parekh/Buium being a coin flop for #3 - both jumping ahead of Levshunov, Sennecke, Lindstrom, Iginla, Yakemchuk and Catton.
A year from now, things could be very different again, but for the time being it looks like the Flames were both good and lucky to get Zayne where they did.
