This is probably also a test to see what the demand is actually like with a good price. If sales only increase 10%, they are still sunk. Maybe they should just leave Canada. Too big, not worth it.
I saw two new model Y's this weekend. I don't know why anyone would do that. If you see the new light bar across the front and back, that's the sign they knowingly bought a Swasticar. Now they get the added benefit of seeing they overpaid by $20k, and their resale value just went poof. Tesla really does know how to treat their loyal quislings...
