We're NB on 4th now. Leaf debris everywhere. I'll have pics in a bit. Absolute swimming pool in front of James Fowler High School. Total river flowing SB down 4th, which is why it's Lake James Fowler in front of the school. Big spruce snapped in half around 53 Ave, laying in the right lane of SB 4th St (NW). Seeing fire trucks and ambulances flying around now.
Messaged the kid in Airdrie, said we got some heavy rain but nothing else, and it was quick. I think central Calgary and NW for sure took a pounding. At Centre St & 64th now, and it's a lake. Everywhere around here is a lake. Another firetruck just went flying past us headed WB on 64th. Whatever that was didn't last long but it was violent. Downburst or whatever it's called, maybe?
