The biggest impact for me seems to be in the produce section. I’ve really wanted some cauliflower or berries and all of the options are from the US. Instead, I’ve skipped those purchases and thankfully now the farmers markets are rolling and I can buy things there.

I started missing cauliflower in the spring, so we grew our own. It's great, but we should have planted more. Almost all gone. Unfortunately the only orange tree we can grow makes grape sized sour oranges.
Have some Arctic kiwi, corn, grapes, rhubarb, raspberries, strawberries, plum, haskaps, cherries, Nanking cherry, apple, sakskatoons, onion, garlic, peppers, cucumber, squash, cabbage, taters, carrots, lettuce, kale, horseradish, catnip, broccoli, asparagus, radishes, tomatos, and lots of herbs.
Thanks to global warming you can grow all sorts of stuff here.
