Exactly. I'm the last person on earth to "but Trudeau" any situation, like our conservative posters love to do. But I was truly flabbergasted when the Rogers purchase of Shaw came up and I thought it was a slam dunk rejection based on competition and avoiding monopolies in Canada, and it ended up passing so easily. What a shame.
Shaw was the last company that could do something to create some kind of competition. Now Telus, Bell and Rogers own us and we'll never get good pricing OR quality service. All I've ever wanted was proper 4K and now that dream is dead on every level.
