I don’t understand the crapping on Conroy in here.

Are we ignoring the possibility of ownership’s role in not trading players out sooner? I think at the very least have a very good idea what ownership would think about trading Ras this past trade deadline while the team was in a race for the playoffs.

How do we know deals for Ras haven’t been considered the past 2 years and the value wasn’t there? Two season ago Ras was hit by a car in early Feb and he wasn’t himself for the rest of the season so I doubt his trade value would have been good that off-season.

I personally really want to see Ras moved this summer. I feel it’s still pretty likely to happen. I’m not so worried that we are this far into the off-season because the sign-and-trade which is harder to pull off is still on the table and so is selling him off as a full year rental. There is still loads of cap space out there in the league and salary retention would really make him fit in a lot of places.
