Mavi Diary - Day 9

Dear Diary. Ever feel like you are king of the world? I don’t mean that repeated dream from Titanic where Leon holds my arms and I’m flying! No, it’s making moves in my head and then they happen. Sure, I might say things like “and it’s part of my new contract” but other than that, it’s not out loud. Maybe.

I told GM Stan that I really wanted to see myself up on the sphere in Vegas, because of course my video would play, and he went and traded for a draft pick so I could get onscreen!

I already explained to Andrew that he could play on the other wing from Leon, but we probably wouldn’t pass to him. He also has to skate back to defend.

Remember two paragraphs ago when I was on the big screen when I drafted a player? Well I guess he “escaped from Edmonton” and now we have another player that I had to promise Andrew’s spot to. I saw his video, he’s a sharp dresser alright and I hope to learn his memo, but his pickup lines on Emily were terrible! She probably hears that 32 times every first round! Dude! He should have said “I’ll let you design and choose the colours of my house.” That always works for me! And he didn’t even have his special engagement ball hat like Leon’s. Ladies love those.

Anyways, I had to promise him Andrew’s spot which is actually Zack’s spot. Gonna be awkward at training camp!
