That's interesting, I find fear that people will not be able to share the generational privilege they enjoyed with their children/grandchildren... the most empathetic thing about these people. I grew up relatively well off, and often fear the loss of that as we move away from the life my parents provided for met. How could one not want to provide everything they had and more to their children, and how could you not fear being unable to do that. As a statistical generalization, many of these people probably grew up in a house their parents owned and now have kids living in a rented house, or a house the grandparents own, or have put off having kids for not being able to afford kids and a home, that's certainly a valid concern in life.
What I find completely unempathetic about these people is their lack of interest in what is causing the stratification of wealth to the point that they have direct enablers of the root causes of everything they complain about.
