Canadian university has changed completely since the scholarship program was introduced. Almost every player now is ex CHL. I guess in that sense they are not developing players at a young age but the overall talent level is certainly higher than it was. Players are older, bigger, and stronger.

Sounds like Canada West (U of A, Sask, U of C, UBC) got pillaged this year by the NCAA.
