I ended up driving around a bit and found my way to a spot just north of the tunnel, where the planes all line up to take off, since it was coming in from the north and everything else was taking off south. I was directly west of the big white soccer ball weather station thing, or whatever that is, on the west side of the airport. Just off Barlow, 25 St, I think? Walked up on the berm and watched.
Ironically, it probably flew directly over my house.
With the work being done on the south end of the runways, we've seen an increase in flights coming on, and I swear, they use our street to line up to the runway.
We joke that the wheels skim our rooftop.
