It would not be shocking if Parekh struggled out of the gate, especially defensively.

He'll be playing against men for the first time. It's expected he'll need time to adjust, so I hope no one is expecting Bobby Orr out of the gate.

Barkov didn't start being Barkov until year 3.

Cale Makar played 2 years in college after getting drafted, and he's considered a guy who had a quick impact.

Levshunov went from being drafted to playing in the AHL as a 19 year old, and then the NHL, and acquitted himself quite well. Strange you'd be certain he doesn't have the goods when he has a number of years to establish that. Especially since he's been playing against guys who are years older than him.

It's not like you have an all word track record.
