What he is not is a top 6 player, and he doesn't help with getting bigger as a team. However, he is glue-guy and that is usually overlooked, plus he is a solid 2-way forward. I bet he carves-out a decent career for himself as a middle-six player with intangibles.

He could be a top six. In terms of line fit, I actually can see Cooper putting him on Anthony Cirelli's line, which would be Tampa's second line.
