To me, for some sub 6’ to stick at center they have to be one of the very best. There are not a ton of guys that are at the NHL level. All of them pretty much are among the best players in the league. If he can stick, that would be amazing AKA he is one of the best. It generally is easier to play wing at the NHL level, so if he’s not quite one of the best (or the Flames draft even better players) he definitely will be good enough to be a winger. Either way, his skill set is showing he should be a middle six player with the potential for more. Have to see how things progress.
