They'll get a shot in training camp. That's the main battle of training camp as far as I'm concerned. The Flames will have 2 established D, and 4D making $1.75M or less, with their jobs on the line. So I could see 2 of the D you listed + Parekh making the team full time by the end of next season. The rest will likely go unclaimed on waivers, which should be a good indicator as far as their trade value is concerned.
PS: Out of that group Brzustewicz still doesn't require waivers to be sent down.
