Vegas is lowballing for sure... its been positioned as the only option and they need a RHD. But vegas knows calgary is in tough and so probably moves slowly unless someone steps up to rent him. once UFA is over i bet they'll come the table. It's just too bad their prospect base is so bad. 1st, Connolly and the kid they drafted in the 2nd round this year feels about fair value eventually if still a lot underwhelming.
Would be nice if a team that isn't so good steps up with a one better asset for him as a rental like another 1st or a blue chipper.
