There's a pretty good chance if it's the next 8-10yrs as a time period, and the criteria of success is average:
1. Make the playoffs 4-5times
2. Win 2-3 rounds

The Flames never had more than one first round pick in the entire young guns era so the ignoring the draft is definitely wildly off base given that the Flames will have 2 first round picks (or more) in 3 consecutive drafts.
