If Vegas doesn't have enough to offer then the Flames should just hold onto him until the trade deadline next season as he should fetch a decent return even as a pure rental.

Players usually look at a few options in free agency. It’s just shady that it’s Vegas involved again.
But again it’s the managements fault. Culture and sending the right message to the room bites us in the ass.
