It's not shady it's just stupid. You think you're maximizing your value when you just choose 1 team to negotiate with? Vegas could give him a take it or leave it lowball offer, and if even they don't do that they certainly won't offer top dollar if they know he's not even willing to talk to one other team. Even hanifin was smart enough to at least pick a couple

And then on top of it you pick an aging team that has clealy been passed by conference rivals. Weird stuff. I'd take Connolly, a 1st and the kid they drafted in the 2nd this year. But it does suck that were basically ruining the likelihood the vegas picks we get are half decent
