The trade deadline isn't tomorrow and lots can and always does change in the NHL. Rasmus also was looking like he could wear the C after Backlund and from all accounts liked the organization and city so in my opinion I can see why the management wasn't cutthroat with him last year. Now if this rumor is true that really stinks from the players side but all they can do now is try to extract the best value for him. Everything isn't as black and white as some posters seem to make it.
