If Robertson happens to be the best asset we can get then do it. Can always trade other wingers to recoup assets. Ideally trading Andersson to move up in the draft is the best option, but if you arent able to do it, then why not go for Robertson?
He is much better then having some middle 6 centre and a 14th overall pick. Neither that will likely move the needle for the Flames

The Flames have no C depth and it is a far more important position than winger.
Sillinger + 14OA would be a starting point for adding C depth in an Andersson trade but I expect that Conroy has better offers on the table. Rumours that Bruins, Mammoth, Red Wings, Sharks, CBJ, Stars, and Senators are trying to get Andersson likely means that bigger names or bigger draft picks are being offered to Conroy.
The goal for Conroy is to trade Andersson+ for a bigger asset instead of having a team offer a package for Andersson.
Now the question becomes, who is desperate enough to make an offer that Conroy cannot refuse?
#2OA does that from the Sharks.
#4OA should do that from Utah.
#7OA becomes a little less certain, unless it is a part of a stepping stone trade to #2OA.
CBJ and DRW picks won't get it done but they keep the Sharks from offering 30OA and thinking it is a good offer.
Johnston does that from the Stars.
Robertson does not do it for the Stars unless it is a stepping stone trade to one of the draft picks above but I think all of those teams would rather get Andersson over Robertson.
RD is harder to get than LW.
