1) The Flames need Cs and do not need wingers
2) If you do think Robertson is better value than Sillinger + 14OA then you go back to CBJ and tell them to up their offer....
3) There are other teams in on this conversation. Bruins, Red Wings, Mammoth, Sharks, etc.
Either way, if the Stars cannot offer the Flames a young C then they won't be in the Andersson sweepstakes. There are zero other #1RD who can be had for under $3M cap hit next season. The Stars need this trade a lot more than the Flames.

I'd rather have Robertson. Whether you flip him after that or not, a 100 pt player is worth more than a mid round pick in a weaker draft and a middle 6 player. Quality over quantity
