He had 6G, 16P in 19GP in 2023-24, and 7G 18P in 19GP in 2022-23. Those are some pretty good numbers. If you expect him to be a 100 point guy in the playoffs then sure you're going to be disappointed, but he was still scoring at a 28G, 66P pace over the last 3 seasons.
That's actually skewed because he missed the entire COL series, and it took him a couple of games to get his timing back, so he only put up 1 point in 6 games against WPG. He had 4 goals, 5 points in 5GP against EDM. If you only average 2022-24 then you get a forward scoring at 28G, 73P pace in the playoffs, which I find absolutely worth $10M. For comparison, playoff sam Bennett averaged 36G, 68P in the playoffs over the last 3 years.
If the Flames can get Robertson, then they should! If you're afraid to get another Huberdeau situation then sign him before the TD, or trade him if he doesn't workout.
