I don't know how that is anything but an easy win for the Devils. Larsson was lost for nothing in an expansion draft.

Yeah agreed and add to it that the trade tree now includes Marky in there. All for just Larsson.
Meanwhile the Oilers haaaaave... absolutely nothing remaining from trading Hall.
Doesn't really matter how well either team has done since the trade or how well Hall/Larsson did in their respective tenures for each team. The Devils have a ton of assets remaining from the trade and the Oilers have nothing.
I think this is the argument to why you'd trade Raz for Robertson - because the potential ongoing value you can get from trading for a player like Robertson is huge.
