Parekh is going to be
bad defensively his first few months. He knows how to play, but he's never done it against opposing teams where every player has NHL speed. The only way to learn that, unfortunately, is by experience. In the long run, I agree with your assessment, but for the '25-26 season, assuming he makes the team, Parekh is likely to be the biggest hole in the Swiss cheese.
