I actually quite like Lakovic. His weak points are in areas that tend to be resolvable.
But it's hard to ignore Reschny's and Kindel's numbers. Kindel's style of transition may not work as well in the NHL. He plays better at center than at wing, but I don't think he necessarily translates as a center. Reshcny is more all-around, so I went with him.
Bear I like, but he's probably gone by then.
Cootes is quite all-around. He was in on about a third of his weak team's scoring. But he uses his size to succeed, and he doesn't have a lot of it. His point totals were underwhelming for a player of his size. Might project more as a middle six player. Mid-round 1sts are better spent on players with top 6 upside, with more ceiling.
