I like the cutting down of contract lengths, thats needed to be done for years.
Not a huge fan of an 84 game schedule, but, eliminating 2 preseason games makes this pretty much ado of nothing, so fine.
I'm a little mystified at the EBUG thing though. Its such a small, rare event that seemingly making it standard is kind of baffling?
I was somewhat under the impression that everyone loves the EBUG system as it is. The Zamboni guy or Arena Maintenance dude takes some shots against the pros from time to time and, very rarely, gets to step into a game and everyone rallies around them...I dont think theres ever been a negative EBUG story, they're almost universally awesome.
Why is this something that needed to be fixed?
