Every team has core players and then build around those... Our core are obviously the players that are still here (Copeland, Lewis, Clark, Coe, Burris, Reynolds, etc.) and in the CFL anything less then a grey cup is considered a unsuccessful year. So in that case, if you dont win it, you need to change your team. Look at BC for example, they basically didnt loose anything except singh and thelwell because of the cap issue and thier potential raise. Then again it is the CFL (The NFL rejects league) so there will always be NFL rejects as well as CFL rejects. Just like the saying that is always used on this board, if its not broke dont fix it... so that would be BCs case, and every other team would be considered broken. Look at every team that did not win last year, They have a whole new team wheater it be new coaches or players every team is different and it has always been that way. Barker is just doing what every CFL GM has to do, if its not working he has to change something, and since the coaching staff is fairly elite and have a great resume then it has to be the players.
Change should be the definition of the CFL.
