I don't think this one aged very well. The runtime is just shy of 1 hour 50, but you don't even see a hint of a gremlin until well past the 40 minute mark. And the main character has all the personality of a turnip, every time he was on screen I was fighting the urge to look at my phone. They really should have made Judge Reinhold the lead, he walked all over the other guy in the short screentime he had. Then when you finally do get some gremlin action, they seem to be a minor nuisance at best. Kids finally checked out when the mom swiftly dispatched the 3 in her kitchen without breaking a sweat, and I couldn't be bothered to keep watching on my own
I'm quite surprised it's rated so highly on RT, it's pure 80's camp but without the humor or charisma that those movies need to stay relevant
