I think there is utility in a Vespa. I can wear my suit to work, without sweating or changing, and i dont have to pay for parking. I take non-highway roads to work.
I have told some people about my wanting a Vespa who have reacted in an ultra-masculine way - which, jesus christ, if you are not comfortable in your own masculinity to drive a scooter, you should drop 5 figure on one of those alpha male courses

You should have similar riding gear for a moped as you would for a motorbike. If you’re someone who would wear a suit on a Vespa, there’s nothing stopping you from similar gear on a motorcycle.
