I think anyone who derives their "coolness" from what they drive is objectively not cool.

Motorbikes, to me, are not cool. ######y death traps. I would rather have a convertible to enjoy the nice weather.

I think there is utility in a Vespa. I can wear my suit to work, without sweating or changing, and i dont have to pay for parking. I take non-highway roads to work.

I have told some people about my wanting a Vespa who have reacted in an ultra-masculine way - which, jesus christ, if you are not comfortable in your own masculinity to drive a scooter, you should drop 5 figure on one of those alpha male courses
