The nuclear deal with Iran was working fine until Trump backed out of it. None of this would have happened if Trump didn't cause the problem to begin with.
It's always the same story with him. Say baseline is zero, he takes things down to -20 and then claims victory when they settle out at -5 (borrowed that analogy from Andrew Chang). Even if the ceasefire lasts and Iran comes back to the table to negotiate an enforceable nuclear deal, recent events pushed the redline substantially and it's not an easy thing to pull back.
